Originally from south Florida, Hillary was raised in Louisiana and Texas but has lived in Nashville for over 30 years. Her background is education, with a focus on helping students with learning challenges. As her own children grew, she stepped away from teaching and was able to concentrate on her love of painting and creating. Her combination of traditional and modern elements in simplified ways help to achieve charm and balance in her art. Not only does faith fuel her inspiration, but the climbing new dawn rose her mother planted at each house they lived in growing up. She resides in Franklin, TN with her husband, four children, two dogs, and her own rose garden in need of tending.
